Skamania Lodge offers accommodations with stunning views of the Columbia River Gorge, a spa, and plenty of outdoor activities. For those seeking a boutique experience, Art Bliss Hotel provides intimate, A-frame cabins with a creative, modern ambiance. Hotel Stevenson offers a more budget-friendly option, blending historic charm with cozy, updated rooms. Skamania Coves offers 7 vacation rental homes and 6 RV sites to choose from right on the Columbia River. The Best Western Plus Columbia River Inn is a waterfront hotel located in Cascade Locks, Oregon right across the river from Stevenson. There are also nearby towns like White Salmon and Hood River that offer more accomodations.

For larger groups or those wanting more privacy, there are vacation rentals thru Airbnb and VRBO available throughout the area.

*We have reserved the cabins at Art Bliss Hotel for our guests, in order to book a cabin you’ll need to contact the booking platform by emailing experience@gosummer.com or calling 833-218-8756. Mention you are in town for a wedding that weekend and they can book your stay for however many nights you need.

We recommend finding accommodations within or close to the town of Stevenson if you’d like shuttle access to and from the wedding as there is limited parking for guests at the venue.

LOCATION

Stevenson is a charming small town nestled along the banks of the Columbia River in the scenic Columbia River Gorge, about a 45 minute drive from the Portland Airport.

Known for its stunning natural beauty, Stevenson offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and river. The town is a hub for outdoor enthusiasts, providing easy access to activities like hiking, windsurfing, fishing, and boating. Its historic downtown features a variety of local shops, restaurants, and breweries, giving it a vibrant yet cozy atmosphere.

Q + A

  • There is limited parking at the venue which we are still in the process of figuring out. We highly suggest taking the shuttles we booked for getting picked up and dropped off within the town of Stevenson or Skamania Lodge. Please let us know if you’d prefer to drive to the venue and we will try to accommodate.

  • The ceremony will be held outdoors on the grass with the cocktail hour taking place on the patio adjacent to the reception. The reception will be held indoors.

  • Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those on our guest list. When you type your name in the RSVP section it will list who is included on your invitation.

  • Although we would love to include your children on our special day, due to budget and space constraints we ask that only adults attend unless told other wise.

  • Semi-Formal; which may include colorful dresses, suits, jumpsuits, etc.

  • Late June in the PNW is generally mild and pleasant. Daytime highs are usually in the range of 72°F to 80°F, with cooler temperatures in the evening, often between 50°F and 58°F. We will update you with weather changes leading up to the wedding day.
